About Us
Established in 1968, PM SHRI Govt. Thingsulthliah Primary School-II is one of the oldest and most trusted institutions in Camp Area, Thingsulthliah, Aizawl District, Mizoram. We are a Government English Medium, Co-Educational school providing quality foundational education from Nursery to Class IV. For over five decades, we have been committed to nurturing young minds with knowledge, values, and practical life skills.
A New Chapter: PM SHRI School
In the 2023–2024 academic session, our school was proudly selected under the PM SHRI – PM Schools for Rising India scheme. This recognition reflects our commitment to excellence and enables us to upgrade our infrastructure, teaching methods, and learning resources to meet national benchmarks for model schools.
Our School Today :
Currently, Thingsulthliah P/S-II is home to 110 enthusiastic students guided by a dedicated team of 11 teachers. Together, we create a joyful, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to explore, question, and grow.
Beyond Textbooks:
We teach life. From sewing, knitting, and hygiene to whipping up local dishes — our students learn real skills. Add in our high-energy Music Class with Mizo tunes, guitar, and keyboard, and school becomes the one place kids never want to leave!
